Bangor based web solutions company unveil Britain's Got Talent Golden Girl Amanda Holden's new website
From singing sensations and fire juggling mavericks to break dancing pensioners and raunchy belly dancers, there's no question Britain's Got Talent has got the nation gripped this week. This year, more so than ever before, the power of the internet has been fuelling a phenomenal world-wide interest in the UK talent show. For Bangor based internet solutions company, Eyekiller.com, the massive online following for Britain's Got Talent couldn't have come at a better time as they have just recently completed celebrity judge, Amanda Holden's new website.
"We were approached a while back by Amanda Holden's management company in London to create an online presence for the TV star. Eyekiller came up with a web strategy that maximises the opportunities that new social networking sites such as Twitter and You Tube offer. We also built in a blog element that has enabled Amanda to interact with her fan base on a daily and talk about the show." Explains Jamie Robinson, Creative Director at EyeKiller.com. "It's been a very exciting project for our company to be involved in and the timing has been perfect, we went live online with the site in early May. Amanda and her team have fully embraced the online networking elements that we recommended; in fact via micro-blogging website Twitter, Amanda was able to rally up support from across the pond in the form of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher who are fans of finalist Susan Boyle. It's been a really fantastic example of the potential that new online technologies create even for maximising awareness and increasing profile on a world-wide platform."
